This Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) Notice & Copyright Policy describes how Sowaylife (“Sowaylife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) responds to claims of copyright infringement on sowaylife.com (the “Website”).   • A statement that the information provided in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Submission of DMCA Notices

3. Removal of Allegedly Infringing Material

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Sowaylife will:

  • Investigate the claim
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content where appropriate
  • Notify the individual or party who posted the material

Sowaylife may also request additional information if needed to process the claim properly.

4. Counter-Notification Procedures

If material was removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed mistakenly or due to misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to request reinstatement.

A valid counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts in your state (or if outside the U.S., to U.S. jurisdiction), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant

5. Restoration of Material

After receiving a valid counter-notification, Sowaylife will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file legal action within the timeline required under the DMCA (typically 10-14 business days), the removed content may be restored.

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

Sowaylife reserves the right to:

  • Terminate accounts
  • Restrict use of services
  • Deny access to the Website

for users who repeatedly infringe copyright or violate intellectual property rights.

7. Good Faith & Misrepresentation

Under the DMCA, any party who knowingly submits false or misleading information regarding infringement may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.
